Finally.
Two Years, four months four days since I started this crazy book.
It needs some polish, but I finally said, screw it! And just uploaded all the remaining chapters. The last four, all at once. It's DONE.
Hara-Kiri Nonfeasance is DONE.
Well... book one of the trilogy.
It's weighing in at 280k words... and when I go back and fix things, It wouldn't surprise me if it hits 300k

I didn't want to half-ass it, so I really dug deep into the trauma vaults. I REALLY twist the knife at the end there, but hey, if there aren't real risks, then why get invested in the story? Bit of a cliffhanger at the end, I will admit, but I have always planned on Book 2 and you gotta get the readers to come back somehow, ya know?

Dude... I DID THAT ALREADY.
I have like... 100k sitting in reserve for this mess. This is AFTER I took out about a third. Although, honestly, about half of that will be going into the next book. Recycle, reduce, reuse. But yeah, I bet in total, considering I tossed about... I wanna say 100k. I didn't have a limit on the size of the book, so the need to cut stuff wasn't really there.

However, if I gave this to an editor, yeah, I bet you could trim away about 150k and come up with one intense and tight book, but I really like my side tangents.

Thank you. Gonna take a few days off, then Finish Hotrod. Then a few days and finish FTS, book 2. Finally IWS Book 1. Then it'll be readers choice which one I start work on next. (Although I think it would be weird if they picked Hotrod to continue.)
