I have posted a new series with a Chapter on Scribblehub but it hasn't showed yet. How much time does it usually take?

I have created a new series and I have also written a new chapter but it is not yet showing on the homepage and the weird thing is I can search for it. The views always remain zero when I search for it in the search bar. It has been 4 hours now. Can someone please enlighten me to this mystery? Is there a approval process and if yes then how long does it take to get approval?

Stories have to get manually approved which can take up to 24 hours.
As for the views, I don't know whether they even start counting before the story is approved, but they do not update in real-time. They usually update when someone gives a rating for example or when you edit the details.

So, it takes 24 hours and what is the chance of it getting rejected?

The approval process is mostly to determine whether it is really a story or not.
Unless you wrote a chapter full of "aaaaaaaaa" it's unlikely to get rejected.

The process is mostly to avoid spam stories, you can just wait 24 hours and it should appear with a notification of it being approved.

To give you a perspective, this was accepted

Unless you're writing porn you're very safe

Isn't erotic writing also accepted, that can also be considered porn. Anyways I haven't written porn yet.

bottom line is, if that can be accepted, unless it's a federal crime, anything you write will generally get a pass

Erotic writing is fine, as long as it isn't Porn Without Plot, it's all good.

And as others said, just wait up until 24h and it should be approved.
