A story hitting the magic 10 is less likely to be dropped by the author than a story with less chapters. People usually reads those stories so you can expect more views.

Some people waits until they're sure the author won't abandon the story before they read it while others read it once it's finished. This is why authors who have written a finished story has more views in their on-going story because the readers know the author have finished their story before and can do it again.
