I recently fell in love with a CN novel called: The Reincarnated Villain Makes The Heroines Tearfully Beg for Forgiveness!

It's about some random schmuck whose previous life isn't even worth describing transmigrating into the body of the main antagonist from a novel he was reading. But here's the kicker, the villain has already been defeated!

The only way the schmuck can escape death is if he rewrites the original novel to paint him as a tragic villain, which I liked very much. It's basically reading a story in a story, about a villain desperately justifying the horrible shit he did in a positive light.

I was kind of hoping if there were any other novels with a similar concept anyone knew of.

the American history
since the american history has already been mentioned, British history
If we are going that way, then let us just say the history of every country/culture in the world. With perhaps the exceptions of some cultures that have not had the time/power to do horrible things, but I am not sure those exist. Their mistakes would only have been on a smaller scale.
So let's just say human history, or history in general because it is a human-centric concept anyways.

Bro just wants some recommendations but got a discussion on the morality of human civilization instead.

Yeah... that was a masterpiece of a story until the Author drag the story and milk it more.

Well enough about my little rant, I don't know any similar story like that. But, if you like whitewashing stories like that, maybe try Scum Male’s Whitewashing Manual. Is a Quick Transmigration about various scum villains being whitewashed by a transmigrator agent. The first act literally makes me cry btw.

You may also like Before I Died, I Forcibly Kissed The Heroine. I don't really like this one, but that's my personal opinion. Is a similar whitewashed story.

I want to recommend more, but I don't think the one I think of has a similar story to The Reincarnated Villain Makes The Heroines Tearfully Beg for Forgiveness!

So I will just leave it with just that.

not just that, the system only allows him to make believable changes, I.e things similar to the original backstory. But his memories of that aren't perfect, so he starts getting suspicious when he notices how extensive and specific his story became without the system warning him even once.

Basically, all that might not even be CHANGES....but had actually happened.

forcibly kissed heroine is actually one of my favorites of that genre...but the beginning is fucking dumb. i always hate how easily these women fall just over one kiss and a few sweet words. Sure, have their hearts shaken. But don't fall in love so quick! And she just decides to date him without any fuss. Smh its just lazy IMO. But I liked everything after that. The maid of his was also a bit too clingy....but I favor kuudere maids so that's just a bias

Babies do much more than look at you funny. They cry and scream when they're not being held and cuddled and given attention. Why do they do this?

If a baby is looking at you funny, it probably needs to poop. Before diapers were invented, parents had to pay much more attention to their babies so that they could hold them over an acceptable place to poop. The same can be said for pee, but the look on the baby's face is more fleeting, and you have less time to react. Today, we call this elimination communication. Some parents manage to do this entirely without diapers. Some parents (such as myself) use diapers to catch pee and take the baby to a potty when it needs to poop because it's easier to clean just the anus instead of cleaning the entire butt, and we don't like poop stinking up the trash.
