I think many people were introduced to Danmei because of MXTX. I'm also a huge fan of her works.

Mine is 'Mo dao Zhu Shi' by MXTX as it was my first danmei reading and also gave me my first crush ever ( Lan Zhan).

Haha, my favourite is MDZS. And no one could understand how it saved me in so many ways. Also, Lan Zhan is my everything as well. He is the one made me believe in love again.

This is a tough question. There is no clear favourite, there're tons of really good Danmei out there! But if I really had to name one... It might be TGCF(aka Heaven Official's Blessing) for me! I reread all five volumes 6 whole times and it was one of my first Danmei that introduced me to this pit XD

I liked it because it was written in a way that made me feel like the characters weren't written to fall in love, or represent BL or anything like that... Rather, it felt like I was watching the process of two people falling in love, and it just so happened that both of them were men. It was very natural, and of course I can't forget to mention how great the character designs are~ _(:3」∠)＿

I like this too, but let's be honest, there are only like 2 sex scenes per over 1000 pages. It's quite unrepresentative of the genre, and I knew a lot of people who enjoyed it primarily for the story, and not for the gay.

Well since everyone is already listing MXTX works I'll list some of my favorites from other authors.

-My Husband is Suffering From Terminal Illness: I highly recommend this one. It's a showbiz with a background of transmigration. Also the story is pretty stable. The interaction between MC and ML is pretty funny and sweet.

-Peerless Immortal Surrounded by Demonic Disciples: it's set in a Xianxia world. This story has a good twist to it. There are more than one love interest but that's part of the twist. Also there's a dual cultivation scene (≡^∇^≡)

-Master Grim Reaper Makes His Debut in Center Position: Showbiz story. Where the MC is a grim reaper and the ML a movie emperor. The premise is pretty interesting. I think most people who read this could like the MC and ML as a person. Or even simply respect MC. There's quite a few moral lessons the author put in.

-I and My Husband Sleep in a Coffin: a story about a MC that reincarnated as an undead king lover that's been waiting for years for his return. This one is extremely funny! My cheeks were hurting by the time I finished reading it. MC is shameless and his interactions with the vinegar bottle of an ML makes it even better!

-Superstar Aspirations: Extremely recommended! The story is really stable and doesn't go around and make filler chapters just to make it long. Setting is a showbiz, this has transmigration attached to it. MC is a film Emperor in his previous life and was transmigrated as a rich second generation master. The ML is also a film Emperor, he's a bit of a salted fish but since he saw that MC works hard it also motivates him (cause he also wants to play in the movie MC starred in).

-Bursting After He Transmigrated into the Cannon Fodder Omega: this one is also showbiz with ABO setting. MC finally got transmigrated as an Alpha but that didn't last long, he ended up being the only Omega compatible with ML. And on the first day of transmigration he *cough* accidentally pulls ML's pants...

-The Demon King Always Thinks I’m Secretly In Love With Him: This is set in a more fantasy world. MC got stuck in a game as a frivolous Demon King underling, the first mission he received was to pinch the butt of a beauty. Unfortunately it happened to be the Demon King's.
