49936 users on the forums at the time I'm making this post.

The main site has 50023 users at the moment.

How do you know....?
If you go to your profile, you'll see your user number in the page's URL.

If you try substituting it for any other number, you'll be automatically redirected to the profile page of the user with that user number.

All I did was try out a handful of numbers to get a gist of how many users the site had, like... 10000, 20000, 30000, 40000, 50000.

I got an error at 50000, so that means the forum had less than 50000 users.

From that point on I just kept trying a few others... 45000, 46000, 47000, 48000, 49000, 49500, 49700, 49800, 49900, 49950.

I got an error at 49950, so then I went with 49940, which got an error as well, so the next one I tried was 49930, 49935, 49936, 49937.

49937 gave me an error, so the number was 49936.

Main site was a bit easier. The number of users in the forums and the main site are the exact same, except that the main site also has some bots made by the site's owner (Tony), and those bots don't have forum accs.

Last time I had checked, the site had 34 bots, so I tried checking the acc number 49970, which gave me a certain username that didn't match with the forum user 49936... Meaning the site had more bots than before.

But, with the name of user 49970 in hand, I could just check them out directly on the forums, and I found out that their user number here was 49883.

Then that meant there was a total number of 87 bots in the main site, so I just had to add that to the number of forum users to get the total number of users in the main site... I tested it out and forum user 49936 was indeed the same as the main site user 50023.

So... Unless a new acc was made in the time it took to write those two posts out, that's the total amount of users Scribblehub should have.

Isn't NU basically just a large bot? Also, did @Tony create everything all by himself? Or were there others who also helped him create the two sites?

NU is a directory of translated Asian novels, it links directly to the site in which the translations are hosted.

The site has a lot of bots that work on fetching the releases and adding them to the database, but there are also a lot of releases that are manually added by users and then approved by the mods.

Tags, genres, descriptions, country of origin and many other things are also all handled by the users and monitored by the mods.

So... It is a site that heavily depends on bots, but that's by no means the only necessary thing that makes it work.

As for Tony creating both sites by himself? Yeah, he did. Programmed both from scratch all by himself.
The forums are xenforo software that he bought though.
