Listening to the Fate of Ophelia by Taylor Swift makes me feel dissonant.
Ophelia was a pawn in court politics who was constantly sexualized and infantized. Her death was her first act of true autonomy. Finding a "better man" wouldn't have fixed the issue. Her struggle was totally different, and that’s a problem romance can't solve. The song misses the actual point.

They could mimic people and animals and always tried to lure you outside. A person who smile that didn’t move there checks or a cat that you swear you saw just down the hall. They weren’t perfect copies but believable enough to always make you doubt. They had a strange sense of principle. They never attacked when your in a house of car and took pride and pleasure from tricking somone out.
