So I'm going to regret this, but I was watching a read through of My Immortal and I wanted people's opinions on what may be the worst literature in the history of mankind. So tell me! Don't sugarcoat anything, I want your honest opinion. Lay it on me!

I think it might be the greatest fanfic ever written. However, it is only good because of how absurd it is. Though it is also near impossible to read because of all of the spelling, grammar, and prose mistakes so you're better off watching internet historian's animation of it for a good experience.

There is this one youtuber, Internethistorian, who narrated it.
I binged it everything and it gave me a good laugh.
The only thing part I found cringy, was in later chapters, when the author described every character's clothes. (Like 7 characters)
It have made me self-aware of what I write since then.

It was popular by the same method as The Eye of Argon, word of mouth. Started making rounds these past 10 years again from when people were shitting on Mockinjay.

I guess what I wonder about is My Immortal being the (by what I hear mentioned) lonely peak as far as infamous shitty fanfiction goes.
I doubt it's the only subpar yet pretentious first attempt at writing that made its way onto the net.

My immortal is masterful. it changed my life for the better, made me stop injecting yolk, brought some love back into my marriages and eased my back poain. 10/10 recommend.
