So, I am editing my first long fanfic, and I am thinking that back as I wrote it, I knew nothing about how one should write. And, to be honest, if I look at it again in, let us say, 4 years after I am done editing it now, maybe I will think the same.
The story I am writing now is almost done. So, I was thinking, is it cheating if I take a writing break for a while, and edit my old books? After my current WIP is done with, I mean. Perhaps for a month, then I can write something again, then another month of editing.
Would you do something like that? I mean, drafting is like eating chocolate ice cream, but those stories could be so much better, if I brush them up with my current writing abilities. (Not that they are anything to write about, but now I have a second grammar checker, and I think my English has gotten a bit better.)
Happy writing! =)
