There was that magic chick who I remember there was a bath scene with, and she magically dumped water on Herald or something? She also died iirc. Yeah, can't remember what actually happened.
As for the game, I never cared about it.

Frankly, I say Yennefer largely because of the book. I haven't played the game so I'm not sure how they're portrayed there, but if someone reads the books, they see that Geralt carries the consequences of his actions whether he wants it or not.
