Why do YOU upload at the times you choose?

So there have already been multiple post asking about the best time to post, which is why are not talking about that and instead! WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE TIME YOU UPLOAD, to well upload.

Best to start with my reasoning. Two of my three chapters per week get uploaded about 3~4 hours before I wake up. This does help with readers a bit but barely , the main reason is that I like waking up with something to do. Which in this case is checking if there were any problems, replying to comments, etc. This also allows me to work late through the night if I'm really late for a chapter. My last chapter gets uploaded during an afternoon, cause its my time its pretty bad for views, but I can interact with people faster.

I do just upload my short stories at completely random times though .

Usually late at night. I try to look for the times when the latest story updates on the front page have been there for 3 hours bcs I then know that mine will be up there for about 3 hours too which is pretty long.

same, I was just poking around before I fell into a time slot and stayed there

Sort of found my preferred time slot on RR, which is a lot more stingy with front page space, and now I upload here at the same time to ensure both platforms get a simultaneous release.

I upload when I finish writing tbh and because I have a weird work schedule that's always at 12 or 1 am.

One minute after midnight local time to maximize activity for the algorithm. Then I post every three days because it seems to maximize views. I have tested it extensively for about a year trying different permutations. This was the best results.

When I was more active and actually uploading, I kind of just did it whenever I finished editing a chapter to make sure I Englished properly. It was never the chapter I finished though because I always had a buffer of 3 or so edited chapters.

When I started I put up more chapters and by chance they got uploaded around the same time so I just started scheduling them at that time when I changed to fixed upload days

A mix. Mainly because it is an adult-themed story, posted at 5 am for myself, but it is 8 pm or 11 pm for the US.

Although I shot myself in the foot, as I have a good amount of readers constantly reading, I can't outgrow it and break into trending. It is my best-performing book since writing here, and because of that, the bar is too high to reach trending.

This is because I wake up at midnight and start working at 4:00am.

I know from experience I would be checking every half an hour if I posted during the day, so I publish the chapters at midnight.

Gives me time to write and edit. Ended up posting around the same time week after week so I normalized it.

After doing some research about when is the best time (hour and day) to upload my chapter, i decided to upload the future chapters in that specific time.
It may change in later on, but oh well, might do some research from scratch again in that case.
