What's the most hilariously absurd short story, story or novel you have ever read?

I have a love of stories that have a strongly whimsical yet absurdist dark comedy sort of tone. Think stuff similar in tone to Adventure Time, Earthbound, Undertale, Deltarune, Monty Python or most late 90s early 2000s comedy anime like Excel Saga or Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (I know most of those listed aren't books but the comedy style is right up my alley). I love stories like these even more if anthropomorphic animals are present in them (I'm pretty much a huge furry). I eat up stuff like wacky campiness and bathos like there's no tomorrow.

I'm not talking about regular adventure stories with all the cliche tropes. I'm talking about stories with absolutely nutty plots like a story about the FBI investigating a tree obsessed hippie cult who cut off the legs of lumberjacks in protest of deforestation or a story about a haunted mink stole hypnotizing it's owner to go on a crime spree or a story about a mad scientist creating a new sapient bear species because he couldn't let go of a cartoon crush he had on a fictional bear as a kid or a story about a child trying to hide a pet clown from his parents. (I don't think these stories I listed actually exist but I'm just firing off examples of how wild stories can potentially be)

I wanna know if anyone has stumbled upon stories that have that level of weirdness to them.

There is a story on SH in which MC advised a woman to stir her womb with a broom (iirc) to get abortion.
That was one chapter and of like 50 (iirc) and each one of them were just as ridiculous.

Might not be quite that kind of thing, but the story "Collective Thinking" on RoyalRoad is pretty weird, but even more confusing.
It's about some kind of institute for Psychics. Yet it's the really weird form of psychic abilities. More the SCP variant, where you look at something and next it's something else. I only read the first 50 chapters, but it's extremely confusing to follow. You can somewhat get it, but there's so much stuff unexplained that you have no idea how things are connected and what's actually at play here.

Yet I should also add that it's a very well-written story, from the author of Vacant Throne. I can attest they know what they!re doing, but it's not always my cup of tea.

Probably one of the many Highschool DxD or BNHA fanfics I read years ago on wattpad. Both had some... interesting things going on. From characters being complete assholes because they could get a harem or projectile vomiting to prevent getting pregnant.

Dont read much anymore. To busy writing.

Looking forward to reading tips in this thread. I love the absurd and unexpected. Science-fantasy being my favourite category. Fingers crossed i will find my next favourite (when i have time to read again)
