Ugh. I've been staring at this next chapter for FTS forever. My cats aren't helping. Holly insists on lying on my arms. Chewy wants to flop on my laptop because of how warm it is.

The Spiffing Brit has been doing a Skyrim stream and I like those new survival mods he's using.

Which brings me to thinking, You know... Been a LONG time since I played The Long Dark. I could use the Eternal Night mod to have the world stop turning and leave it at midnight forever while playing on Interloper and turn off healing while you sleep so you can only heal by drinking tea. It's really fun when it gets down to -90 degrees and then a moose tries to murder you and breaks your ribs.

However, I've been thinking about that LitRPG story and I really do like talking about abusing game systems. I mean, I shouldn't start a NEW story Well, start isn't the word for it. I go a bunch of material in my cutting room floor folder that I could repurpose. Still, it's crafting a new story, when I got two I need to finish.

So... what to do?

Write the new story. You might get inspiration while writing it. You said you have been thinking about it, so now is a good chance to start.

I mean it sounds like you already sort of made your decision.
But I usually write short stories on the side when I want to break up the monotony of writing my main novel.

It usually helps me keep the creative juices flowing.

lol the only way to get out of a block is to force yourself to write even if it annoying that what i do... but the 1º level is sure tempting
