For some reason men seriously like tomboys. And it’s kind of unreasonable. I know that there are benefits to tomboys, such as having them wear your old clothes and saving money as a result, and the fact that the two of you would have a common point of reference as result of similar hobbies. Tomboys are known for wearing their personalities on their sleeves(if they wear any sleeves) and a lot of guys and gals like tomboys for that reason. A fair bit of men and even a few lesbians I have met have said that they like tomboys because most of them aren't drama inducing or they actively avoid drama. It's a bonus for some as they commonly share similar hobbies and actively want to spend time together with their significant other on things they both enjoy. There are also other reasons such as tomboys looking healthier than most due to exercise but it really just comes down to personal preference.
