Hello everyone, forgive my premature pandering, but I have released the first two chapters of my debut web novel, The Slave King - part of a larger series I plan to unfold over the next 12 months. I ask for forgiveness as it's only two chapters released - much too early for readers to get captivated by. But I have 10 chapters in the bag, and I will be releasing two a week (Tue / Thur). And, frankly I could not hold the excitement of what's to come.
My second apology, the web novel does not follow the main characteristics of what's popular on Scribble Hub, it's not light hearted, funny or whimsical. It's the exact opposite, I am hoping there is a niche audience I could carve out for myself for those looking for a novel that's dark, gritty and political. I am generalizing, but literature on here seems to focus around characters and journeys, very micro. The Book of Sol is top down, global politics, empires, kingdoms and statecraft. Probably much more impersonal, but epic in scale, very macro. I will let the readers of Scribble Hub decide my fate, but if this sounds like your cup of tea, please come by and check out my novel.
