Branded by association and cast into the chaotic streets of Nexus — a world where magic, technology, and myth collide — Jeremiah is left with nothing but questions, grief, and a strange pendant pulsing with mysterious power.

When the impossible happens and he is chosen by the System, Sarah’s final, unfinished masterpiece, It pulls him into a world of impossible creatures, cryptic bargains, and shadowed truths Sarah never shared. But the System doesn’t just promise power or survival; it’s a puzzle whose consequences ripple throughout his life, and possibly all of Nexus.

— This is a story about healing. Jeremiah isn't in a good place at the start. He's angry, frustrated and grieving. He's going to make mistakes, push people away, and complain. But he isn't going to stay there, either. This story is just as much about Jeremiah healing as it is about superhero battles and fun pet shop shenanigans.

— Slow Burn LitRPG in a Modern Fantasy setting, where you're just as likely to see Fae and Vampires riding the subway as you are to see Dragons and Superheros battling in the sky.

— Old-school Pet Shop System in the same vein as some of the classics like "Gourmet of Another World", "Number One Dungeon Supplier", "The Innkeeper" and "Black Tech Internet Cafe System"

— MC with Fae-based powers.

— Pet Shop focus! While the MC WILL have his own struggles, battles and adventures, the core of this story is the Pet Shop, and how it changes the environment and people around it.


RELEASE SCHEDULE

Day 1: 8 Chapters, including the prologue.

May 16th - July 1st: One chapter a day, with breaks on Sundays.

July 2nd Onward: 3 Chapters a week, on Monday - Thursday - Friday.
