The meaning of Ratings

I started writing a novel recently and I'm now at the thirteenth chapter. The novel garnered 23k views, 450 Readers and 600 favorites, with which I'm quite happy, as online people say that's good.

But I don't know what to do with my Rating. First of all, someone rated my novel 1 1star at the first chapter I uploaded and now, I have 17 5star, 2 4star, 1 3star and still the same 1 1star, so the average rating is 4.6.

I compared this with other books that have also only about 10 chapters, with many having a much better rating, while having much less views, favorites and readers. The problem is, I don't know how to improve, as all the comments are nearly always positive. I try to implement the measly feedback I get, but the novel still gets bad ratings... So, I came here to ask for help. Maybe tips to improve, or people saying I'm just too paranoid.

That single 1 star is probably a troll. But I'm going to be serious, a rating of 4.6 is really high.

If you are comparing yourself to the multiple straight 5 stars, don't. That is not representative. Check the amount of ratings received and go from there. Compare your received ratings with books with a similar ammount of ratings received to get a more accurate picture.

Also, anything above 4.5 is awesome.

As the ratings are highly subjective, they mean very little overall.
