OK, I've been reminisced about the Lone Wolf gamebooks I used to read as a teen/kid. Or maybe it was another gamebook, but I'm pretty sure it was Lone Wolf.
I didn't read a lot, but I remember drawing around entry 13 the first time you died, having fingers all the way around the book, and that one vampire dude who came up in a lot of books.
He was a chill guy, not attacking if you didn't provoke him, and a bit of a weirdo who'd help you if you did something artistic for him, like write a poem about him or draw his portrait, or play some music if you happen to have an instrument, depending on the the book.
He's entirely shippable, doesn't affect the plot in any meaningful way, but I went into great efforts to find him in any book I read, because I liked him.
What was the name of that vampire character?
