Resolved Story now showing up on any lists?

Hi, I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but I've depleted all of my sanity with this.

I've uploaded two of my stories on this site on the 24th, but as of right now, have never seen any of them on either the "Latest series" list nor the "Latest updates" list. My stories has views, but they're all mine from refreshing and editing etc. (checked from the stats page, all views come from my own small obscure country)

Also, I cannot find them using the search function either, so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or it's just a matter of time.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, this is weird.

They are listed on your user page... so they were approved.
But they aren't visible via search.

I suppose it's time to ping staff and see if was hidden from search for some reason...

Is "pinging staff" done through support tickets, or how?

The story was not approved.

If a story doesn't show on homepage/searches, then it wasn't approved.

Usually speaking, you just need to wait 24h for it to get approved, but since you posted on the 24th, this waiting period already passed.

I'm not sure why it wasn't approved, so PM @Tony about it. He has been quite busy these days and he is the only person that approves novels, so there is a chance that he maybe forgot to click on a button that would make your story become visible.

Yeah, a support ticket can also work. This e-mail is listed on the "Contact Us" form on the homepage: [email protected] , and you can use it for this too.

Might even be faster than sending a PM to Tony, I think... I never tried sending an e-mail to Tony tbh, so I dunno if he checks it more often than the forums. I'd assume he does though.

I hate to bump my own thread, but I've messaged Tony but received no reply, nor got my story visible in any way. It's been almost a week and a half now since I tried this. Are there long waiting queues for publishing a first story for new users?
Or some bugs in the system somewhere that I'm missing?
I've uploaded my story on other sites as well, perhaps it automatically flags that and ignores the submission?

There is no queue or anything. Stories are usually approved about 24h or less after they're released. Tony most likely missed your story somehow.

You not receiving a reply yet just means Tony has yet to see your PM.

He was last online on the forums on Wednesday 1:34AM (on my time), while this post was made on Wednesday 11:12AM, which is when I assume you sent the PM, so... He hasn't logged in yet, hence why he hasn't seen your PM.

Try sending an e-mail to [email protected] , maybe? I quite honestly never tried sending an e-mail to Tony, but I'd assume he checks those more often than he checks the forums. So it probably should give you a faster reply.

Ah I think I sent my PM later than he was online so perhaps that was why. I also did the "Capital Mistake" of deleting the story and re-submitted it with the same problem. I'll just wait for a bit more I guess and then try the e-mail. But thanks for the clarification, I don't know how this place works yet.
