I've been making chapters of my fanfic in AO3, it's a mix of several fandoms: S.T.A.L.K.E.R, SCP Foundation, Incredibox, MHA, Roblox, Arena Breakout,

If you're curious, give it a read. It's not much, but it'll surely kill your boredom (critics allowed, must be well-made).

Now, about the title of this thread.

I saw a game in Play Store, a realistic military simulator game for mobile devices. I was interested and surprised too since there hasn't been any attempt to create a decent hardcore realistic loot-based milsim game like tarkov for mobile devices. So naturally, I look it up on youtube. The gameplay looks fun and exciting, the gunplay feels satisfying, and the thrill feeling of trying to survive amidst all the crazily hard bots and contractors just made my inner gaming demon smiles broadly.

Of course I downloaded it, why the hell shouldn't I?

Slowly, I got attached to the game, too much maybe. It's addictive, like any other game, and unforgiving like tarkov. It has some stuff to ease up the pain of losing millions worth of loot though, modes like secure ops where you won't lose your gears after dying (Only expenses would be stuff that isn't your equipment such as meds and bullets. Mags are secured too, so no worries of dying with a 100 rnd drum mag.), 4v4 TDM which rewards you with money and is pretty much a quick game sometimes, and coincidences that can only happen in Hollywood movies that somehow occurred in this game.

Sometimes, this game is full of bs. Some other times, I feel badass extracting half a million loot after killing four contractors and lots of bots.

Then I realized that this game has lore. Wowie, just like Tarkov. I love it. And because of that, I feel the urge to create the first fanfic about this game, at least in AO3.

Alright, the backstory's done. I'm gonna tell you a thing before asking.

Arena Breakout's gameplay is set in a country called Kamona. Where it is on real life map is unknown to me, but the militants use Spanish as a language so I guess it's a South American country. It has towns and beautiful landscapes such as Arbor, Guoyapos, Onotos, Floranpino, and more. I forgot some of the cities, but we contractors called them with the game names; The Mine for the mine underneath Onotos' mountain, The Farm for the farmland in Arbor, Valley for the big area of Floranpino, Armory for the armory somewhere in Kamona (I forgot the name of the areas there), The Port for the port in Guoyapos (A harbor city), Northridge for the vast landscape of Marulos which is scarily good for snipers, and finally the TV Station for the Kamona TV Station close to the armory.

There's a reason why the events of this game happened along with the reasons why there are loot goblins here.

First of all, a civil war broke out one day and divided the country into two factions: North and South, Ministry of National Security of Tevila (MNST) versus Colom Defense Intelligence Service, Kamona Liberation Army versus Blackgold Universal.

These two sides have fought for quite some time. Fighting in matches of tug-of-war, trying to seize a place or a floppy disk before the other.

The entire world is curious about their fights, so you'd receive news about the civil war if you ever live in that game's America. Not for long, though. The UN of this game's lore is called the Sumek Committee and they ended the war publicly, turning Kamona into the Dark Zone where people enter and steal any leftover stuff in it. That's the players. The war still goes on, however, without the public eyes watching. The mere fact angered the subordinate of the Liberation leader, Ajax Jones. And by gee golly gosh, he really hates contractors. At one point, he killed a newbie in the cinematic who was wearing a T3 armor.

"No one gives a f*ck about Kamona!"

Yes, that's what he said in one of AB's cinematics. Because of those lore-dump cinematics, the motives of the two factions were clear. The Coloms are in it for the money since they're pretty eager to sell whatever they got from the TV Station's floppy disk. The Tevillans, aka the MNST, are the hero of the country (at least in the eyes of the Kamona's citizens).

Second of all, the lore interacts with the game so at some events one of the maps has a chance to trigger a special event exclusive for that one map or several other maps. For instance: Bosses might appear in places they don't belong lore-wise and gameplay-wise. This happened in like what, almost all of the seasons in AB? Yeah. In the Mine, there was one event where four bosses plans to have a meeting in one of the hotel in the Onotos' mine. That draws almost everyone's attention to the mine since you know, bosses' weapons are great and always comes along with premium bullets. Arena breakout has three main extraction modes: Tactical Ops (Easy mode), Lockdown Zone (Medium-Hard mode), and Forbidden Zone (Holy sh*t these mfs are on steroids). Mine is a map exclusive for tactical ops and I kid you not, I encountered a humongous beast armored with T6 body vest, helmet, and a 60 rnd casket mag of RPK because of the event. What in the actual fu-

Ehem. So basically.

What other things would happened in the lore? What would superpowers of the world such as Murica and China thinks? And do you have any other what ifs if this actually happened IRL?

i see many ways this could go

1.other powers could get involved for example the usa could involved which would probably get russia and china to pay attention to show that they are still global powers and if this is happening in south America then gorilla warfare would probably be used and history has shown gorilla warfare is powerfull with homefield advantage look at Afghanistan stanlingarnd Vietnam so it could turn into meatgrinder this can have several outcomes like the war escalteing into a nuclear war or usa explodeing and dropping a nuke or the other side doing it does not matter which will end the world or it does not get past country destruction or the popluation prymiad is heavily detsoyed resulting in a case like russia or south korea or japan and will probably die out leaveing a open plot line for the future

Yeah, I've thought of that too. But what would happen if this happens in the world of MHA?

Have them adapt a 24/7 news cycle, then ban non-news programs from the airwaves. Guaranteed mass destruction and suicides...

Fortunately or unfortunately there is plenty of real world examples you can choose from.

If you want a start you could look at the Wikipedia for the Democratic Republic of Congo. Truly a heartbreaking example of how war can turn a country with great potential to a hell on earth.

That's freaking psychotic. I may not support it, but damn that looks exciting.

Here's also a question.

Since the Kamona of my fanfic is also set in the same universe as MHA, some heroes would've been sent to the Dark Zone to secure the place. What varieties of bad things can happen to the heroes or the country who sent them to settle down the beef of the two factions?

Was it a civil war?

Something more fun than an apocalypse please...
You don't have to actually use the nukes to win. Just threaten the USA that you will blow up every major city in the world if they don't help you.

Ahh...

Actually, that's a good idea.

In Arena Breakout, there's an expensive loot called "Utopia". It's a secured case containing what seems to be samples of something in three small bottles, like those bottles that were used to measure the amount of liquids in the science labs.

Maybe I can turn whatever is inside it to be a deadly nerve gas, or a stimulant capable of strengthening one's intelligence or quirks. Whichever parties held it, they'll be guaranteed to have a weapon of mass destruction if the samples are crafted carefully.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Wait, that's for the US of A.

What about other countries? China? Russia? What kind of moves will they do? Also, this fanfic is also set in the MHA universe. What will the heroes especially HPSC do?

Its a fictional country just like pretty much everything else in AB, at best you could call it an alternate earth.

Yeah, but my ADHD brain wants it to be a precise location that makes sense because most of its denizens speak Spanish.

BTW, do you play AB?

Eh, I don't think so. I don't see cultures mixed together here.
