Writers who don't love reading tend to write crappy "I was reborn as such and such character from this TV show and banged everyone in the series" True.

Writers are more introverted- Partially true. Writing requires lots of time free of distractions, but true introverts make bad writers. Most of us just have a 'social' meter like in the sims, that is pretty easy to fill up and empties very slowly.

Writers tend to be really observant- Partially true, but like everyone, we only tend to notice what we want to notice.

Most writers are telling you what they believe- Patently false. I write stories with heroes that may be as liberal, as conservative, as evil, or as religious as they can be... and I only believe that viewpoint of as long as it takes to finish the dialogue. I have literally had my 'hero' deliver a half-page rant supporting something I actually hate, because it made sense for his character and the story.

Writers have a 'dark core'- somewhat. See, writers have just as many evil urges as anyone else, but if we get them, we will often work them out by writing about them... or maybe even take the opposite viewpoint. Most of the worst of us act like saints in real life, but there's a good reason that most of the 'active on social media' writers are worthless hacks. You burn off all your talent pretending to be social.

I have already spent too much time today on the forums :P time to go back to using my creativity where it's actually appreciated, Ta!
