So a while ago i was trying to sleep and got this idea but I have hyperphansia so i just played it out entirely (got no sleep for the next month). (Ignore the grammatical mistakes in the prompt i have speed running)

The prompt: A Martial God in terms of Hands, swords, Spears, brooms, books, sticks and any meele or ranged weapon you can think of that existed in accident China, dies because of stage 5 cancer, but he was a reincarnated from earth. Now he got reincarnated into a beast/monster tamning world. His affinity is low and the world is dangerous so now he is gonna beat the monsters with his hands and any meele or ranged weapon you can think of that existed in accident China

You dont have to write down everything you think about you know, not every idea is good

I am also of the opinion that not every idea is good, but I do think people should write down everything one thinks about.

Because I believe it's only in the hotest dumpster fire, can true steel be forged.
Not really, if you write every idea you dont let your mind think them more and refine them with more thoughts and other ideas you can combine with them. I usually have the idea for a book inside of my head for a good year before I even write the concept.

Each to their own I suppose, i dont really stop refining ideas and thinking about it once I write them down.

I believe writing is rewriting.

But I suppose other people can just blow their load in one go, and do single draft wonders, I dont really do that. I am not some super genius.

I am on the dumber side of the equation.

When people immediately write everything they have in mind they "get it out of their system" and can slowly lose motivation to develop it or continue it. This is how you see so many authors with dozens of novels they start but never end, it was just a thought, an idea they wrote and then they realized they didnt want to write it anymore because they didnt even think it through.

didnt want to write
Oh...ah... good.

I mean if people cant pass the litmus test of "writing down their ideas", maybe they the shouldnt be writing it.

And if people that dont like the "act of writing", or dont have the discipline to write when they dont feel like it, or lose motivation to write or develop the moment it's "out of their system".

May be these people shouldnt be writers/authors.

I mean these people that can't "write" the moment the wrote anything thing down, sounds like the system is just protecting itself.

So, good.
