Which sites would you suggest to post a story on?

Except:
Scribble Hub - We are already there.
Royal Road - Can't do any more. They don't like me.
AO3 - Already there.
Questionable Questing - Already there.
Spacebattles - They don't like me either.

Is there any other option, and if yes, which downsides (or upsides, if any) it has?

WebNovel. Post there, but don't sign contract.
Isn't it the same thing?

Honeyfeed
Tapas
Pixiv
Ritoria
Wattpad
Could you tell me more?
What's the need to know about the sites?

For Wattpad, as far as I know, it is a problem with discoverability. I would get a minimum of views, if any...
Honeyfeed, I posted there and quit because my story might not fit the usual profile of the novels posted there, but ultimately it is just the same issue as it is with Wattpad. It ultimately might not be an issue since, well, in the worst-case scenario I would receive zero views and ... just like Wattpad.

Tapas apparently does allow both novels and web comics, but after checking it again I am starting to wonder whether it is an LGBT-only site?

But isn't Pixiv a Japanese visual art-only site?

What about Ritoria? As Tapas?

Wattpad has died off over the years but there is a community there. You just need to make yourself known to them.

LGBT stuff is what does the best there but that doesn't mean that you can't post other content. You may not get as many views but it's still a number you can add to your total.

Pixiv has an entire novel writing side to it in various languages. Though it's mainly erotica and fanfics.
What about Ritoria?
Ritoria is a newer site with a much smaller fanbase but it mainly focuses on romance, fantasy, and covers featuring Fabio type of niche. Fifty shades of grey and twilight-type stuff.

Honeyfeed also exists. It's like Tapas in its design and ability to have comics and novels but most of its users are into isekai, manwha, and OP Powerscaling like Webnovel has.

Soyetsu is in Japanese so you have to translate your story but it's one of the places where animation agents go to scout possible stories. This is an absolute free for all of the stories and niches but currently the most popular is OP Isekai.

Ritoria is pretty small, but you can get a decent viewcount if you post consistently. Nothing near SH or RR, though.

Honeyfeed feels more like a closed community site honestly, but I just post anyway for more visibility. I have no idea how I managed to get on top 9 weekly without being in their Discord server, but that's probably my greatest accomplishment so far because of how hard it is to even touch weekly without either having a massive external fanbase or being reputable/liked in the community.

Tapas isn't LGBT only, but novels get very little traction there. It's mostly for webcomics, though stuff like TBATE gets reads I guess.

For Wattpad, I think you're okay as long as you're consistent with daily chapters at least in my experience.

I logged to Pixiv with my google account and it seems to be primarily Japanese.

Browsed around for a few hours and there were novels written in English, but I am starting to doubt whether anyone read them.

If the site feels the need to say "English is a language that originates from United Kingdom islands" (though, technically, the definition isn't wrong) and I am not sure whether anyone on this site actually speaks the language

I made an account with Campfire.

It seems that in addition to the whole world builder encyclopedia, they have a space dedicated to the story. The problem is that the space for the story is limited to 25000 words, at least under the free account, anything above this is a paid service.

It probably isn't viable, but I considered it interesting to point this out.

(and giving a printed chapter to someone's mailbox isn't viable either. Some retirees are aggressive, who would have known?)
