Reworking My Story: Lots Of Stuff Went Wrong

I’m reworking my vampire story I had on here to be better suited for this site because the old version wasn’t getting traction. Any tips to improve on the rework? I switched main character to a FMC but the romance isn’t hers. I’m looking to make it more action/espionage themed. Tips to make it better for traction? I really want to build up a following here.
