Review not appearing in reviews list

We recently wrote a review that seems to have never been made public, even after a few days - is there some way to tell if this is just a delay or if there are edits we need to make?

Reviews are manually approved. It takes some time, depending on how busy life is for the moderator(s).

How long should we wait before we are concerned? Or will rejected reviews be deleted?

Rejected reviews will be deleted.

Or rather, they will never appear in the first place.

Make sure that the review is about the story itself. If you start saying a bunch of stuff about the author or his other stories, then it'll never be made public.

Update: Edited the review and it went up basically right away. Still don't know what rule it was breaking, which is frustrating - it would have been nice to get a note or something.
