Rejected Cover

First time this has happened to me, but apparently, my cover was rejected because it was too NSFW. I quite disagree with the decision, and I just want to make this thread to ask for opinions and perhaps a way to contact the moderator. Now, this is the cover in question:

What I have a problem with is, how come mine is rejected while these covers are allowed:

(Picked randomly from the trending list. Nothing against these works and authors.)

I know Tony sometimes still responds to threads made in this forum, so I hope he reads this.

Just tried a few VPN on incognito, and it worked fine. NA, EU, and AS. Where are you from?

I think it's because of the angle and positioning of the woman, along with the hand caressing her face. To me, it looks like something sexual is about to go down whereas the others are just a front shot picture of a woman sitting or standing. That's my guess.

I don't know, maybe it's because yours is more "suggestive" than the others, which show a similar amount of cleavage, but not in this type of situation. Though I'm not a fan of such covers to begin with, so I don't pay much attention; just going by your given examples.

The angle of your cover makes it so that much, much more skin... and cleavage are shown. That's what I'm thinking, but maybe it's also just the cover bot detecting yours.

Think I see the problem now. I might have made the clothes' colors too similar to her skin color, so it looks like she has her chest all exposed... but she doesn't. Or maybe it's too much even then. Still, I think this is tamer compared to some of the other examples.

It looks like her tits are falling out of that thing, and almost exposing nipples... I had a similar issue before with one of my characters I posted in a glossary that one of my readers made for me. Ended up having to crop most of it before it was accepted (not here image hosting service)

It could be the AI not liking it, or maybe Tony said no personally. Who knows...

Did it say because of the NSFW or just that it didnt make it and your assuming it is because of NSFW? Only reason I am asking is it might be too large for the thumbnail.

That said, I have a few comments
1. The clothes blend in with the skin, the color is too close. But you figured that already.
2. The camera position looks down on the woman which rewards viewers with more boobies, but more boobies turns the hub's alert systems on, so I'd recommend smaller boobies are lifting the dress a bit more.
3. The way the hand caresses her face gives "Yes Daddy" or "You are my pet" vibes, which aligns closer toward nsfw work. The examples you shared are mostly just sexy women without suggestive posing, and the last example can be argued but hey I'm sure she's got back problems with those melons cx
4. The boobies might just be too big.

I would recommend changing the camera angle, or covering up the boobs a bit more, and maybe risk keeping the pose but it if gets rejected still, then perhaps rearrange the pose. But hey, I'm sure that cover alone will get you some readers

It did say the cover was rejected because of NSFW, yeah. And as far as I know, covers and new stories on this site are moderated by people, not AI.

I drew this myself, so I know how painful it is to change the pose and redraw everything. Might as well do another illustration altogether. I didn't really consider the camera angle and the hand, but seeing that they're being brought up as potential flags, I probably should be glad that my art conveys the vibes I was going for


Boobies are canon and necessary, though. I guess I'll just have to censor the cleavage at this point.

Or if you want to try and get away with it, maybe put the title across the cleavage to sort of censor it?

The angle is already making the proportion of naked skin and cleavage fairly high, and the dress colours can blend into the skin, making it look even more revealing. There is also the chance it detects the breasts as a butt instead, or some other shenanigans like that.
