The bad reviews usually mention one thing. The game was abandoned. Well, even if it was not, you'll have to wait a really long time before the new update. However, even if it was abandoned, for this price, you won't be able to find a better incremental game. It has enough content to justify this price. I know it's not on sale, but it is really cheap.
