Have you noticed that certain characters are loved or hated by your readers? Are they the same as the ones you love or hate writing about?

My absolutest favoritest (this is a thread I don’t need to follow grammar rules) character is Silnarion and using their name in the title doubles the views on a chapter vs. the name of my villain mini-boss Magpie.

Apparently, adding trigger warnings to the title also increases views. Maybe because they assume more action/ plot is occurring?

Just something interesting I noticed. Feel free to discuss~

Oh boy, place a "(R18)" in your title and that chapter will rake views

Writing a fanfic rn, so far most characters aren't original, and I haven't had the chance to fully portray them yet. Usually, character names aren't in my chapter titles, but I'll see in the future. I did notice how a content warning has increased the read count for that particular chapter.
