published new story, still not viewable but already has readers?

published a new story yesterday "Desire beneath the storms" and i know it takes up to 72 hours before it gets approved and is available for others to read. Somehow, however, it already has 3 readers. Not sure what's up. Could it be moderators have already become readers, or is there a glitch?

Two ways for this to happen is that the story is in your signature links and a few clicked it and became readers, or if you have some folk who checked your series page on your profile in that time and decided to become readers of that story.
