Alright, so I saw a thread like this on female, male and even non-human characters, so let's give some love to our inanimate(perhaps) weapons.
So post weapons from your stories here!
It can range from anywhere from John Wick's pencil to a planet destroying mega laser-beam, as long as it has some history or specialty that makes it different from other weapons.
Even defensive stuff or sentient weapons count.
Also, one a time please, I can't handle multiple at once.
Format:
Weapon Name and type -
Physical appearance(Provide image if you want) -
Description(can be as long as you want, if you have an entire 1m word novel dedicated to describing your weapon, so be it, I'll read it in my free time. This can constitute the history of the weapon, it's forging process, how it's wielder obtained it, its abilities, its favorite food, its sexual orientation, how it thinks I'm very handsome and intelligent etc...)
Example:
Weapon Name and type: Golden Spoon - Spoon
Physical description: A literal spoon, but its gold, therefore superior.
Description: Thousand of years ago, in the Heaven realm, a golden spoon fell upon the Shu Mountain. A fledgling daoist at that time named Shu picked up the spoon and decided to whack some dragons with it. Later, Shu threw it back in the mountain, symbolizing the founding of the Golden Spoon sect, in worship of the Golden Spoon. Generations passed, and legends say any ice cream eaten with the golden spoon will taste absolutely sublime. Hence, multiple wars were waged in heaven for said spoon.
PS: I'm not a real life expert on actual weapons, so don't expect professional comments from this. I do watch Shadversity and the like though.
Edit: Here's how I'm going to provide "Feedback": I will be asking questions from the viewpoint of the reader and I'll try to give simplifications and some comments about the weapon. If you wish to improve on a specific point, do tell me and I will attempt to give advice.
