Plot ideas?

Hello!
I wrote a mecha, sci-fi story involving humanity fighting against an almost conscious AI. It contains (or will contain) mech battles, geopolitical aspects and relationships.

I’m just wondering if anyone has any ideas on I should continue the plot, if you have any plot twist ideas or sci-fi elements from your imagination which would fit in the story.

I appreciate any feedback!

This is kinda not enough to go off of. A fuckton of Mecha stories are about these exact things.

What exactly makes your story stand out and want someone to read it at all when they can just watch Gundam?

I would say basing it in another time or place apart from Earth might do the trick.
AI might be different in other universes, behave differently, mature differently, etc.
You could really blow minds and give it a Victorian climate, where mankind's technology develops much faster.
A Victorian, mecha, steampunk world on the brink of a new world order brought on by rampant AI.
