Pinoy Writers, do you guys recommend Kofi?

I'm considering making a Kofi page that's essentially a tip jar and free bonus content I can't upload on SH (i.e. audio books of my own works).
I don't have a bank account xd Just a verified GCash account.

I would recommend patreon over it, as far as I've seen, significantly harder to grow a Kofi page.

Kofi is meh. I one ever got one member on their and no donations. I've gotten a lot more paying Patreon members through the years. I maxed out on 116 paying members.

But I will say there's a drawback with Patreon. I write smut with plot, and they have started hitting my spicier content on their site. It doesn't get hit if it's a PDF attachment in the post but it's something you need to be aware of.

So if you don't write any spicy content you're fine.

Haven't had any peeps in KoFi, but I earn stuff via Paypal, which I can easily trasfer to my GCash account.

Paypal convenience fee is 2% per transaction amount though. Tangina lang eh, kamahal amp.

Patreon is better. You can have your PayPal connect to gcash for convenience.
