I just arrived, but the original inhabitants don't seem very welcoming of strangers. I can feel the tension and hostility from some of them.

The new world's inhabitants' culture fascinate me. Their culture seem to have some similar aspect to our own, this might suggest the existence of a common evolutionary path in our societies. We might not be that different after all.

Log #3 - A Toxic World

Spoiler: A Toxic World

I encountered a fascinating specimen and on farther studies I discovered that some of the creatures inhabiting this world have taken a particularly unique evolutionary path.

My studies on these creatures' behavior has yielded interesting results. It appears that these creatures' intelligence is in the negatives, and they have adapted to mimicking other—often times—less intelligent creatures for survival.

Unfortunately, their low IQ has resulted in them to be nothing more than an echo chamber for the mentally disturbed and twisted members of their tribe.

Their behavioral patterns are also very simple, as is expected of "things" that use the parasites in their digestive system for processing information.

Based on my observations, their only value is to be used as a source of short term entertainment. However, I believe that purging this particular evolutionary branch might be more beneficial to this world than their insignificant contribution to the entertainment industry.
