My story is not showing in latest updated

So, I started doing a rewrite of one of my stories, and it is not showing in the latest updated section. I deleted all the chapters, left the first one because I did not want to lose the story, and then posted the new chapter 1. After which I deleted the old one. Is it a bug, or do rewrites not show in the latest updated?

Odd, it should appear in the last update. Any updates appear there I think. Not an expert but I think they do.

that is the expected behaviour. it's there to stop latest update spam.


Assume you have 40 chapters, and you delete the last one. Now you have 39.

The next one you upload will not show up in latest update.

If you delete 2, the next 2 will not show up. etc etc

I thought it was only when deletion and upload are close in time are deteected as spam/bumping the story in latest updates?

I remember the anti spam system kicked in when
1) lots of chapters are uploaded in a short time (story will still appear in latest update section, but isn’t bumped to the first page again)
2) author changes chapter order close before a new chapter upload
3) chapter was deleted, then another was published shortly after

Correct me if I’m wrong
