Several years ago there was yet another battle royale game trying to come out. I need to find it since no one in a few gaming discord servers know what I'm talking about.
Main premise is somewhat of a simulation of 50 or so players running around from GM players. Weapons and powerups are a given to eliminate each other and see if they can make it to the end timer. GM's were floating across the arena with unique powers to quell the population.
The only other thing I remember is the fighting area. The arena is a massive dome that has the visuals of being a digital hologram. Like basic white gridlines with a light blue background. Flickering with bloom and those annoying digital squares to show that it's a simulation. Probably some sort of mind-connect to a virtual world. A announcer that was treating it like a futuristic bloodsport.
Pretty sure all characters were on crack with how they were speeding like they were the flash.
