Happy Harem In Another World Vol 1 | Scribble Hub

Hi everyone,
I’d like to get some honest feedback about my story’s current performance and whether I should be concerned.
Here are my current stats:
  • 33 Reading
  • 10 Plan to Read
  • 0 Completed
  • 0 Paused
  • 3 Dropped
I’m not entirely sure how to interpret this. I understand that having 33 active readers is a good sign, but I’m a bit concerned that there are still no “Completed” or “Paused” readers at all.
Is this normal for a developing story, or could it indicate a potential issue? Also, based on these numbers, do you think there’s a risk that the “Dropped” count might increase over time?
I’d really appreciate any insights or advice. Thank you!

Readers zerg-rush when you have 50 chapters. (well, not really and not a lot + also depends on genre, quality, etc, but yeah you understand what i mean)

DO NOT give up.

Like a certain author that did 8-10 series but always axing after 10ish chaps.

-------------------------

For info: lot of readers are tired of axed/dropped series hence why they wait stockpiled series.
And ironically, authors that drop early on, reinforce the stereotype of wanting to wait before reading.

A loop of "i only read series with lot of chaps bc i hate authors that drop" ->>> "i drop bc i get no readers (early on)" >>>>>> BACK TO STEP 1

Stat don't matter. You shouldn't be concerned about it. Readers come and leave. Such is live.

What you have to worry is the security of your home. Because once you build an audience, they will enter your home at night and dismember you. They will display your body parts as a trophy.

The fingers you used to write your story will end up in the British museum.

Your story is not completed, so I wonder why you are expecting "completed" readers. Sure, statistically some readers mark even ongoing series as completed in their lists, but that is a tiny percentage.

That said, for only having 12 chapters, having 40+ people save your story into their reading list is good. You are only just starting to break into the lowest brackets where people start paying attention to you, so you might see a spike if you keep at it and actually get a semi-reliable schedule.
Commonly stated breakpoints are at 20-50-100 uploaded chapters, for the above reason of so many stories getting dropped before they get anywhere.

As for those who dropped your story... there will always be those who do not enjoy your story, and you do not have enough readers for the number to have statistical significance.

oh completed means the book is finished publish right?
i think its refer to user completed read from the first chapter till the current chapter.

Some readers use it like that, I'm sure, but from what I checked on some more popular ongoing series, it ranges roughly around 1-3% of total user stats. On actually completed stories, it's closer to 15-25% of users, because most don't bother setting up their reading lists properly.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about the dropped..

Seriously, I have seen mine go up and down... It hovers near 50, but sometimes it goes down to 47 then up to 54...

I think the dropped is either it isnt what they like, or they drop it from their list and might pick it up again later... Like you probably had 3 people add it... read a couple of chapters and they dropped it because it wasnt for them, or they might come back later... nothing to worry about
