I am having trouble implementing plot in a natural way

I am having difficulties implementing the plot into my short story twenty two. Does anybody have any tips for implementing a sort of plot a somewhat natural way.

• What will it be about?
• What kind of plot do you want?
• What genres will it be?

If you are asking for someone to create a plot for you, I think you are in the wrong place of mind. Think of where you want to take your story or else it won't go anywhere.

A plot should naturally occur within the author's mind. If you don't know what kind of plot you want for that story, just start another one with a plot in mind. Like aliens invade and it's a survival story.

In other words, your writing style is cripplingly heavy on the planner side. My recommendation, try writing something without having planned or plotted it out.

This is from the perspective of someone just learning how to formally outline their stories. My planning was rough, but the ability to write natural feeling characters often made up for it.

The best writing tends to bring the structure of planning and the natural feel of "discovery writing" (better known as 'pantsing') together. I was weak in the planning department, you are weak in the pantsing department. This means you need to get some practice in the opposite area of writing.
