How to disable the appearance of Search | Quote | Reply when highlighting?

I use a TTS browser (T2S) for my reading, which highlights the text it is currently at to help the reader read along, as well as to affix the page such that the highlighted text is in the middle of the page, and it autosrolls to keep it this way as the reading progresses. In SC, however, it highlights the first line of a paragraph (a line goes until a comma/period/other seperating punctuation is reached), and stops highlighting after that until the next paragraph starts. This also stops the autoscrolling, where with some long paragraphs, the later lines are not visible. I also cannot scroll forward, since the middle seems to be fixed to being the first line until the next paragraph is reached. I am not sure if this has to do with the Search | Quote | Reply thing, but I want to see if I can disable its appearance in my browser.
Thanks.

Hello, I do not think you are able to disable the
Code:
Search | Quote | Reply
. However, if you log out of your account, only the
Code:
Search
appears.

If possible, could you please tell me what TTS you use so that I can do my own tests? Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. It is called T2S and is available in playstore.

I looked at the app, and, indeed, the follow-along text stopped after each punctuation mark.

The workaround I found to make the follow-along work was to turn on reader mode.

Now, that means all the good graphical aspects of the website disappeared. However, the text does now get highlighted without breaking between sentences.

Additionally, I found that changing the speech engine also played a part in how well spoken words were highlighted real-time, though that didn't fix the original problem itself.

To turn on Reader Mode, you need to click the button on the very top right, the three dot one. It opens up a menu, and you need to scroll through and find "Reader Mode".

Thanks for trying. I'm not too fond of it, though (of reader mode), so I'll refrain.

See if your device has a screen reader innately installed. That is what I use. The only downside is that it doesn’t highlight text, but that might not be the case with your device
