Are we talking about your own babies or a collection of random babies from different sources?

Your own babies.

Imagine you or your wife got quintuplets.

How do you rate how fucked you are?

Corty, I don't think it'll be that low, :blob_blank: :blob_cookie:
It is my subjective view. If one kid wakes me up at 1am, then 4 will wake me up the same, at 1am. If one starts crying the rest will follow anyway. Still, my own flesh and blood can scream all they want... I will take care of them, no matter what. Always. The rest of the world can go to hell; I will take my frustration out on annoying people if nothing else.

I'm sure psychological pressure quickly caps out and then goes down. Financially though? That will probably be difficult. Though that's my experience of a chair strategist speaking.

My younger sister got two boys under her.

As an uncle I try to balance being a good uncle and a disciplinarian. My mother (their grandma) and their mother (my sister) are way too lenient that the boys grew up not following their grandma and their mother, only my words.

Seriously, it's difficult. Why do I get involve raising her kids? Well, they're living with us, so they have to follow the rules of our household.

Also, the boys and I share the same interest, which lies in amateur astronomy.

I’ll raise it to 5 then. And the finance part to 9. So I can buy edge-damping stuff, safety-outlets and whatnot. Worst case scenario, I would set up a playing pen like for bunnies or something.

None of the above. It's logarithmic if anything.

Corty, a cage is not the worst case scenario, it's the first option, :blob_blank: :blob_cookie:
Toddlers will break anything, you need a play pen to ensure they won't, :blob_cookie:
