How do you hide story's you don't like

How do you hide story's you've read and don't like as I tried blocking them but it doesn't seem to work as I still see them. Thank you for your help.

Release Filtering can remove the novels of genres you dislike from the home page.

For specific series, you need to add them to a Reading List, and change the List Settings to "Not show on main release page" or something like it, I forgot the exact terms~
