Hello everyone, i wanted to atleast finish the second chapter before asking for a feed back as the chapter one and two are the only chapters that would have a connection, but I'm really curious on what others would think or it's for someones taste at all, I don't mind if you say it's no good at all it's my first time ever writing a story so go on be honest.

title of the story is Danse Macabre and only a single chapter

also if someone has a psychological thriller, crime specially about serial killers I'd love to check it out maybe i can use it as a reference on how to write a story thank you to whoever gave it a chance.

Hello, I did enjoy the chapter as I do like my horror and scary stories haha. However, I would consider formatting the writing differently, as it was a little jarring to read. I would also make a section with "Note:" or "Disclaimer:" if it's not a part of the chapter itself, like you did at the end. Sadly, I'm new to Scribblehub myself, so I can't recommend any serial killer stories on here specifically. I'd recommend some books like None Shall Sleep by Ellie Marney, and The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris, as it's like the gold standard of serial killer books in my opinion. Hope this helps!

I'm a writer on here too, but I write fantasy and Star Wars fanfiction lol.

hello thanks i greatly appreciate the feedback, and will try to change the way it's written I've actually recently did rewatch the film silence of the lambs and Red dragon I'll make sure to check out the book for reference, i wanted to make the next chapter about the sin Wrath and will change the protagonist and the only one that will have connection to chapter one and the rest will be a story of it's own again thank you greatly appreciated

Ah if you're into physical books about serial killers, I would suggest The Count of Eleven by Ramsey Campbell or the three Psycho novels by Robert Bloch (Psycho, Psycho II - note the first is an adaptation of the movie, the second is unlike anything filmed in the franchise - and Psycho House).

Yes - the movie was based on a short story called "The Very Bad Friend" (or at least Bloch claimed that - interviewers claimed Hitchcock based in on the story of Ed Gein - a story Bloch actually kept from being filmed while he was still alive, possibly because he knew the man, and was even the right age to have been one of the kids the "strange but nice man" shared his "homemade beef jerky" with...)
