The older I get, the more I realise I can no longer enjoy stories that ends with MCs' natural death.
Yes. They lived a happy life but the bittersweetness of seeing the brilliant sunlight now is a memory constricts my heart. I couldn't endure seeing every good things must come to an end despite knowing well that nothing lasts forever.
I have the knowledge but I in the end still could not sever myself from this suffering and move on. I can only hope I find enough rest and gather my strength to continue.
