So today I finally got around to having my glossary updated for my story. And then when I went to go put it up in the area it goes in, I found out the glossary section is limited to 6,000 characters. This means characters, not words. To give you an idea...
That is VERY SMALL. Its too small to be useful for very detailed worlds. So you won't find this in the normal glossary area. If a story gets big, or detailed it needs more room to give to readers. And the bigger a story gets the harder it is to keep all the details fresh without a glossary. This means the glossary can get very big when you get over 100 chapters.
My glossary was over 33,800 characters, which ended up as roughly 5,786 words. You can do that math on that to tell that a 6,000 character limit is EXTREMELY limiting.
I want to suggest nicely and politely that I hope they will change the limit on glossary size.
Thank you very much. Have a great day everyone!
