Four views?

Through my reading, I found many Chinese novels used three views as synonym to a person's common sense.


Then yesterday, my friend told me in Vietnamese there is this 'five views' which is used as synonym for a person's facial appearance.

Is there 'four views' or other numerical view in Chinese-influenced sphere's vocab?

Four sounds a lot like death in certain CN dialects, so probably no.

Do the four cardinal directions count? Daoism is big on spatial/directional ordering.
