Feature for Sub-Forums

Because of the way new threads and comments sort, I think it would be a good idea to generate sub-forums within existing forums (that is, the original author of the full forum). It may help organize the pages a bit more. Maybe it's just my OCD today, but what does everyone else think?

Further depth than this. Example would be, in this very thread you are in right now, I could generate two sub-threads where I and others can reply, with one sub-thread purposed for visualizing examples, and another sub-thread for other inquiry, instead of making an entire new thread under the Author General Forum and such. It would still be under Author General, but you would then have to navigate to the direct thread to see the sub-threads, etc.

Ah, so you want threading in the forum, kind of like a Reddit post? Might be best to take specific diversions out into a separate thread if of general interest or into DMs if not just to simplify things.

But considering the average users here still routinely post threads in the wrong subforum (even though they are general enough), I think this might actually worsen the experience.
