Many EPUB readers support OPDS feeds, would be cool if SH could have one as well.

Would make it even easier to read on any device.

I don't think epub readers can support ads?

Feels kinda pointless for Tony to invest time in adding a feature that will actually reduce his revenue.

The short of it:
OPDS is a feed format that allows e-readers to catalogue and import content of a given site.
Which may sound like little more than could be inferred from the initial mention, but there's not much to it in the first place.
It's just a format specification.

Ahh, in that case, the closest thing I know is a rss bot from discord.

Other than that, while this is a very cool suggestion, something Tony might do in the future, but nothing pressing

Import content? WTF?

This is basically saying, "Oh you know that story site? Yeah, I've never visited that site, I just made it so that everything posted there are downloaded the moment it's posted. Yeah, I don't care that the author feels like nobody reads his stories."

Which story website actually does this?

Not to mention that this sounds like a MAJOR copyright abuse.

Well, the name does say "Open Publication"...
Anything copyrighted wouldn't meet that definition.

Therefore it probably wouldn't make sense to include it here, where a significant portion of the series are under copyright.

RSS is different because it merely provides a link to the site, thus it counts toward local traffic (and is already implemented).
