Fallen Order looks like a reskinned jedi themed titanfall. Or if star wars had a baby with dark souls. Just had that sorta DS combat feel to it. Not bad. All good games. But almost all past star wars games I remember have been linear single player. This isn't anything new. "Single player is still alive!" Is fucking stupid to say in a star wars game cuz that's how it seems like its always been with a few exceptions.
I hate how these asshats cant seem to break away from the original movies.
I said it before but we need a good star wars game that's set either post last jedi or in an interesting EU story. Enough with the goddamn original trilogy and prequels.
Something open world like Knights of the Old Republic where we can basically forge our own legend, instead of following some pre written bull where secret hidden stories of characters we didn't know existed are shoved in our faces, would be so much more enjoyable.
Open world games are hot right now yeah. That in itself wouldn't be new either. But a good open world star wars game would be just perfect for having fun and exploring the lore. Besides maybe one online star wars game I vaguely remember we never got that after the Kotor games.
This here? Looks nice but really closed off in terms of levels. Like we cant really explore much. It's an alpha. I get it. Still. Other than the nostalgia and neat combat it didn't do much for me personally. I still have the old Battlefront and Kotor for my old consoles. Would rather play them if I'm honest
