Do web novelists from Winnipeg even exist?

So a long time ago I saw the video “Does Winnipeg really exist?” in school(like ten years ago I guess). It made me suddenly question about something even more elusive than just Winnipeg existing. Do web/light novelists from Winnipeg even exist? Are they some kind of rare species?

They don’t exactly meet the web novel criteria though, they’re all traditionally published. Obviously more western type publications would exist. By web/light novel I mean more “weeby” type stuff. I don’t think I’ve ever seen or met such an author from Winnipeg. Either they’re an extinct species, or they never existed to begin with.
