Arant chronicles is a collaborative project between writers, anyone is free to join as long as they meet 2 requirements:
1. Can write a readable story.
2. Can suck it up when their story isn't declared canon.
The Arant chronicles is set in a fantasy world similar to earth, but with the technology of the American Civil War.
The plot involves two sides pining for a small country rich in resources: Ibinia, which is based on the middle east.
The Sage Coalition, a congregation of powerful users of the mystic art, who have ruled the world in the shadows for the past 600 years.
The Nova Ordo, a small rebel group formed 20 years ago to oppose their tyranny!
Will the Nova Ordo falter against such a formidable foe? Or will they emerge victorious and gain a foothold against their adversaries?
The Arant Chronicles will include a tournament-style story arc where characters from both sides are pit against each other.(from different authors)
The two authors will write their own version of the story where their character is the winner. The two versions will be judged by the audience and only one will become the official canon.
The first to 10 victories emerges as the winner and earns the rights the resources of Ibinia.
