Being a fan of Terraria and Stardew Valley, I knew I would have to try Core Keeper as soon as people started describing it as Terraria meets Stardew Valley. I'm a little over two hours in, beat the first boss, and I'm having a really good time. It's not quite as good as either of the games that inspired it, but it still absorbed me the way only these types of games can almost immediately.

Has anyone else played it? What are your thoughts?

I love the game and as am avid terrarian I appreciate it for what it does. One thing I can't truly understand are items remaining after being dropped just a personal issues.

Love the skill trees the music boss fights are amazing and their farming and fishing system are simple and I enjoy it.

I played the demo, and I didn't like it because the gameplay lacked direction and goal. They may have improved since then so I'm not sure how relevant this is.

It's got the same goal as Terraria: equip yourself so you can find and kill all the bosses.

They also have some banger tracks and beautiful environments a benefit to being pixel 3d.
